What is Yoga Therapy?
A yoga therapist works one on one with you, the client, to teach you skills, practices, or techniques to resolve the problem(s) you're facing in the areas of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. My job is to show up, meet you where you are, and use a variety of resources designed to help you to heal. It is a collaboration between you, the client, and me, the teacher, to guide you to go from where you are to where you want to be. With the suggested practices for your unique needs the power of the healing is in your hands.

I am Christine Shaw, a 500-Experienced Yoga Teacher with training in yoga, yoga therapy, and spiritual leadership. I will listen and support you in your desire to heal from physical, mental or emotional pain so you can thrive in life.
I use yoga practices and principles as therapy. We work together in sessions to reach your goals and thrive in life.
Physical: Yoga postures and movement for rehabilitation and physical therapy
Mental: Breathing and meditation along with stress reducing and trauma informed practices to understand and release effect of anxiety and depression
Emotional: Self-love practices combined with sound and aromatherapy, energy work to harmonize body and mind
TRX suspension training, MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), sound healing, Eden Energy exercises, and Reiki. I collaborate with those who are looking to heal or resolve problems in the areas of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I use yoga to help you to go from where you are to where you want to be and to become your very best self!
